John Derian

What’s not to love about designer John Derian’s handmade decoupage collection? I have a 12×20 tray with birds in varied shades of green, teal, and chocolate on a shelf leaning over my desk. I’ll never part with it. His stunning eye for color and eccentric style inspires me. Whether it’s a paperweight or a tray, you’ll find that owning one decoupage item is never enough. To meet the needs of a collector, John Derian also carries paperweights, coasters, lamps, imports, antiques, quilts, table linens, and a unique line of stationery, to name just a few. With images of red coral, blue birds, fancy insects, vintage botancials, and other designs inspired by days gone by, you’re sure to find something that appeals to you and fits the mood of your space. Prices start at $20 for a decoupage coaster, with plates around $105, and trays starting around $50-60 . (Photos: assorted product shots, complements of John Derian and the New York Gift Show.)
