Hello Lucky [30% SAVINGS!]

No, it’s not what you get when you cross Lucky magazine with Hello Kitty.

Hello Lucky in San Francisco is a great online destination for adorable cards that rank very high on the cuteness scale. Sabrina, from Hello Lucky, wrote to me today about a promotion that they’re having. If you read Daily Candy, take 30% off your entire online order! Simply click here and enter promotion code: DCHELLO before shopping. Only valid until 2/24/06, so you better get crackin’ there, paper lover!

Be sure to browse their gift wrap (Vespa Girl is sooo cute) and letterpress cards ranging from baby announcements to thank you notes and moving announcements. They carry bridal, birthday, holiday, get well… everything!

Hello Lucky is so special to me because I love their gorgeous graphics and exquisite quality — cards are hand printed on antique presses using high quality 100 lb cardstock. They even accept custom orders for showers, weddings, etc. After a few clicks on their website, you’ll see what has Daily Candy, Real Simple, Martha Stewart Weddings, and the Today Show buzzin’!

With 30% off, now you’re the Lucky one… Hello, Lucky!

Well 30% of is a great deal. I’m a big fan of thank you notes or beautiful note cards (eventually I’ll start making my own) and I love the peacock and the swallows and flowers collection of cards. So yeah, I probably will!

I love the peacocks too… Isn’t that little elephant soooo sweet on the moving card? It says, “It’s time to get packin”, and he’s placing peanuts into luggage. I love it.

I feel like an excited 12-year old again when I see stationary. As a kid, my mother would give me $20 a week for my “allowance” and I’d take it to the stationary/sticker store and spend the entire $20 on pretty paper and stickers for my collection. I don’t collect stickers anymore, but I still adore paper… the texture, colors, smell…it takes me back to special times.

I think a lot of people have fond memories of paper products. The excitement of tearing open cards that come in the mail, the joy of addressing a letter and buying a pretty stamp and sending it off to someone dear to you…

    Holly
