Wondering where the photo from coffee + cre8tive came from? P.O.S.H. Chicago. Those red lace floral creamers were unearthed in the basement of a century-old restaurant suppy warehouse, a stockpile of unused china dating from the 1920’s. Price? $6-8 each. Looking for some cute diner mugs? You may like the pancakes make people happy mug or for amelie addicts, the sunny yellow french gnome mugs and dinnerware. The Chicago skyline dinnerware is a favorite of mine, along with the vintage swedish creamers.
“At some point in your life, you want something that is real!” That thought is what drives P.O.S.H. to search high & low for the items that stock its shelves – an eclectic assortment of vintage Hotel Silver, Restaurant China & Flea Market Finds. Found in such disparate places as old American china warehouses to the antique markets and auction houses of Europe, the items sold at P.O.S.H. are often one-of-a-kind or limited in quantity. From a vintage silverplate Tea Service once used in an English Country Inn to a beautiful Water Pitcher from a Grand Hotel in New York, many of our pieces tell a romantic story of an age gone by.

This photo reminds me of my grandparents farm in Rhode Island, where there’s always a pie baking, fresh vegetables on the farmhouse style table, and lots of pretty glassware and ceramics everywhere. The resident rooster wakes you in the morning. The smell of honeysuckle fills the air.
I’ll be back to tell you where this photo came from…you’ll enjoy. Stay tuned.
(okay, I’ll tell you now. Photo is from P.O.S.H. because I have to give photo credit shout outs here. But, that’s all I’m telling you…stay tuned to find out who P.O.S.H. is and promise not to google it!)
You know you’ve got everything, a woman needs, to getta man…

I know this is a bit off topic, but have you seen the new it girl for Burberry? It’s none other than the ever-adorable prego Rachel Weisz. I’m loving the new snapshot style Burberry ad campaign for their Burberry London perfume…and the new fragrance smells sooo yummy! The photos of Rachel in giddy London show her with hunky Welsh actor, Ioan Gruffudd, as they bop around the London Eye, Big Ben, Downing Street and the South Bank. Ahhh…the joys of London in the Spring! The photos are just fab, but make me miss London… Since we’re all so visual, I thought you’d really enjoy seeing them. If you’d like a hard copy, grab the April issue of Glamour magazine. Mine are going right up on my inspiration board – delicious!
Do you like it? Thoughts?
