Saturday Links!

Ta-Dah! Happy weeeekend everyone! Quick update: I’ve added a gad-zillion shopping links in the right column, so that should keep you occupied for awhile (smile) today. I still need to add New Orleans and Savannah, but no worries, I’ll get to that soon. If there’s a store in your local hood (or a city for that matter) that you think I should add, please comment below so I can jump right on that for you.

Anyway, the links are all yours. Have fun. In fact, go nuts.

(Image from Blueprint, the magazine I’m still waiting for… get your copy yet? Care to comment with your review – I’m dying to hear your thoughts.)

No, I still haven’t received my “free” copy. I picked up a copy from the newsstand. I’m not impressed. Although there were a few good hints, the magazine seems to have absolutely no dash. It is, if anything, stolid, still, and staid. I will not subscribe.

    A couple more Atlanta goodies:

    Interior Dimensions

    Savvy Snoot

I really enjoy your blog and all the fun finds you share with your readers!

I received my copy last week. The typography is cute. The cover got me interested. It seems a bit too similar to Real Simple though, covering the same ground in a similar fashion. It would have been nice to see a totally fresh approach. I liked the section on photo enlargements since I’ve always wanted to make a poster out of some fun images.

Thanks for all the great inspiration, Holly. I’ve been following for several weeks now and finally decided to chime in.

I received my copy of Blueprint in the mail today. I wasn’t really impressed. I expected much better.
I sure hope it gets better in the future. And, I will miss the KIDS magazine.

LOVE your blog. Seriously. I’m subscribing, and you’ve acquired a new fan. I just read Blueprint…like others said, it’s alright. Nothing out of this world. But it’s Martha, and I’ll give her a shot just because I think she’s extraordinarily talented at everything she does. Keep up the great blogging!
ps – I’m adding you to my favorite blogs link list!

I really liked Bluepring. I am getting bored with Real Simple and this seems to be something new. I’ll get it again, as I think I’m dropping my subscription to Real Simple. But don’t quote me on that!!

I remember when I first got Domino and was totally unimpressed, too. But it seems they have kicked it up a notch since then, so I am hoping Blueprint does the same.

And, like tuscanycastlegirl said, I will miss KIDS, too. I think it was the best one out of the MS family really.

I was very dissapointed when my Blueprint arrived. With Martha Stewart Weddings and past issues of MS Living being so visually stunning, I was expecting something more. So, I’ve decided not to subscribe for any more issues. For me Domino is far more inspiring!
