Loobylu: Clarie Robertson

The talented Loobylu is Claire Robertson, an Australian illustrator and toy designer that I found via Flickr. You can learn more about Claire and her work on her blog or visit the fabulous whipup where she is a contributor. In addition to whipup, Claire also contributes at Ready Made . I hope you enjoy learning more about the lovely Miss Claire as much as I did. What do you guys think about her illustrations, paintings and dolls? I’m speechless, it’s amazing sometimes to ponder the sheer amount of talent that exists in this world.

coffee + cre8tive [apr 25 06]

Do you look to Flickr for inspiration? I hadn’t thought to peek at the photos sets of others until recently, when decor8 reader Emy turned me on to it by linking me to one of her favorite sets. It didn’t take me long to realize how addictive flickr really is – what a goldmine of talent exists there, open to all to enjoy. You can locate thousands of amazing photos from talented souls all over the globe, photos that spark your creativity and make you smile. I encourage you to get out there and surf Flickr and if you want to join the community, open your own Flickr account and share bits of your life with others. It’s also a great way to keep in touch with your friends and family around the world if you don’t have time to maintain a blog. Just post photos with a few comments and send the link to your friends. Here’s some detailed information about how to get the most out of Flickr.

If anyone reading has photo sets that they’d like to share, please post your Flickr link below by clicking on comments.

psst: I found a talented doll maker and painter from Australia on Flickr, I’ll be back to share with you shortly, so stay tuned.
