I wasn’t surprised to learn that Blonde Designs was founded by two fair-haired beauties, graphic designers Angie Gubler and Kristin Rees. With a love of typography and experience as Senior Art Directors for Martha Stewart Living magazine and Martha Stewart Weddings, it was only a matter of time before they extended their creativity outside of the magazine pages and into their own company.
I’m a font addict and these blondes are workin’ it with some delicious font action. See for yourself here.

From her delicate seam porcelin vases ($100) to her hand thrown perforated candle cups ($28), you know you just love Anne Black. Did you know that in addition to creating lovely things for your space, she also designs porcelin charms on delicate silk threads to wear? Consider yourself informed. View all of her charming styles here at Greener Grass Design, along with her brooches and earrings, too!
A bit about Anne:
“The young designer Anne Black, is one of Denmark’s most influential contemporary ceramic designers. The collection includes a variety of bowls, plates, cups, vases, lamps and jewelry. Each piece, distinctive for its shape, is decorated with a number of different graphic perforations, decals, hand paintings or a combination of these applied designs. Anne’s approach to porcelain is uncomprimising. Each product is unique, crafted by hand, and of high quality materials.” – Greener Grass Design
Rustic chic. I spotted these guys in Blueprint magazine and had to share with those of you who don’t have access to the mag yet where you live. I loved their idea of placing several of these in a perfectly straight row, hanging on hooks, over a sofa. I really like the shiny tin hurricane lamps the best and for $25.95, the price is right. If you purchase 5, they’ll discount your total 15%.
