coffee + creative {sept 14 ’06}

When I came across these blue and red textiles over at Kathryn M. Ireland this morning, I thought about all the wonderful prospects. A throw for the foot of a bed, a duvet cover, some pillows… I love these two tone prints, so crisp. Kathryn has lots of batik prints that I like, and although I’m not big on toile, I love the toile patterns that she offers. You should seriously check them out.

If you have time, read her bio. Fascinating.

    I am a textile designer from India. Looking at kathy ireland’s bio and the fabric business that is in I can say that – Most, if not all designs/ patterns , colors, textures on the fabric are a enhancement on Indian designs and some are an exact copy.

    Thank you for featuring my fabics on your blog. Not tobe confused by Kathy Ireland the ex model, in response to the textile designer from India, true, we all take alot of inspiration from India, I have travel and been inspired by my time there, however the fabrics featured are inspired from a trip to the far east.

    You are doing a great job

    Kathryn M Ireland
