   When I first saw the picture of the map quilt it took my breath away. I’ve been hording old atlases ever since. Thanks for the mention Holly.

   I’ve played around a bit with the idea of using quilt designs in paper collages. I especially like to use designs from a wonderful quilt book called “Spectacular Scraps,” by Judy Hooworth and Margaret Rolfe.

   I’m still working on the “craftsmanship” aspect, but if you’d like to take a look I posted a couple.
