Caleb Simeon (NYIGF)

The contemporary glass of the talented Caleb Simeon is undeniably gorgeous. After obtaining his BFA in glass blowing, and spending several years in Venice where he apprenticed with master glass sculptor Pino Signoretto, Caleb returned to California to create his own Italian-inspired glass to share with the world. Caleb isn’t in the business merely to please himself, he goes above and beyond by inviting Italian masters and international glass blowers to come together in his studio to train the next generation of glass artisans. That is dedication and passion at work. If you are interested in seeing Caleb Simeon glass, click here for store and gallery locations nearest to you. Locals: You can spot some pieces at Good on Charles Street.

2Jane (NYIGF)

2Jane showed at the NYIGF and my friend snapped a few photos of their booth yesterday. If you’re not familiar with 2Jane, hop on over to their website for fantastic finds from wallpaper to lighting and really fun tickers (clocks). Check out the light Beth is standing next to below… Spectacular! Talk about a conversation piece.

Cool display idea for clocks…

I’m not covering the NYIGF or anything, so don’t get too excited, but I do have some cool shots to share with you on the blog today. A big thanks to my friend RR for snapping these for me!

Textile Arts and Marimekko Spring Textiles ’07

New Marimekko textiles for Spring are starting to trickle in over at Textile Arts. Which reminds me, I really need to get over to Cambridge sometime to see our new Marimekko store. I have to add this to my February list of shops to hit.

If you’d like to see all of their latest for Spring, click here.
