Amy Butler *New* Nigella Collection + 6 patterns

Amy Butler recently notified her fans that she’s soon to launch her premiere home decor collection with Rowan Fabrics called Nigella, named after one of her favorite antique flowers. The patterns are of exotic florals (huge trend right now), “This grouping makes an exotic, Neo Victorian statement. Floral designs collide with feminine romantic flourishes to create a collection of fresh “heirloom” prints with a modern twist!” says Amy.

The Nigella collection (shown below) is 54″ wide and printed on 100% cotton sateen, and uses lots of green, olive, salmon pink, pale pink, blue, khaki, and turquoise. She also released 6 new sewing patterns: frenchy bags, blue sky hats, barcelona skirts, stash & dash bags, gum drop pillows, and feather your nest. I have to get my hands on the gum drop pillow pattern, I want to make them. Aren’t they sweet?

Thanks Amy for the update!

Question for you…I love all of this fabric, but does anyone make great rugs to compliment/coordinate with these styles? I am tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to pull a look together using these fabrics in my home. I have white denim sofas and cocoa brown walls with white trim, vintage accessories, and fabrics calling me to make pillows, but I want a rug before I commit to sewing pillows…what would you use/do?? ;) I’d love your suggestion!!
