Wanted: Interior Mags from Denmark/Sweden/Norway

July 24, 2007

Danielle posted on the Style Files about her interest in finding a swap partner for interiors magazines from Denmark & Sweden and I am actually looking for the same, including Norway, so I thought I’d post about it too.

Wanted: Interior Mags from Denmark/Sweden/Norway
If you’d like to swap with Danielle, she’ll give you some great Dutch magazines in return. If you’d be interested in swapping with me, I can send you magazines from America. Let us know if you are interested in swapping. For a Dutch swap, email danielle AT style-files.com or for an American swapmate, email me at decor8blog AT yahoo.com. If you are nervous about shipping costs to America, I’m more than willing to Paypal you for the shipping expenses. I’m thirsting for Bolig Liv or Boligmagasinet!

Wanted: Interior Mags from Denmark/Sweden/NorwayWanted: Interior Mags from Denmark/Sweden/NorwayWanted: Interior Mags from Denmark/Sweden/NorwayWanted: Interior Mags from Denmark/Sweden/Norway I like seeing the space of Danish actress and singer Xenia Lach-Nielsen (directly above in these three images) because she’s an art lover like I am and it looks like she’s into the works of collage artist Nanna Ask, which I have to say, after seeing her work, I’m a new fan. Great abstract characters and soft hues of pink, blue, green… What’s not to love?

Love those soft colours, the watery blues, the pale pastels. And that rounded chest of drawers is gorgeous. The art is awesome too!

I love the idea of swapping magazines, but that would mean I couldn’t tear pages out. That would be hard for me to stop. It has become a therapeutic activity for me.

I have a few copies of both Boligs (!) but they’re from a couple of years ago. Would you still be interested in them?

Wow, love everything. and great Idea about swapping neat mags from dif countries. Whenever I’m abroad I always make sure to bring some back with me. I’ll have to start this with my friend from germany.

I noticed that one of these pix is of white walls and aqua blue wood trim. I love this. I have seen this a lot more when I am travelling in Europe – paint the walls white and the trim a bright colour.
We tend to do the opposite in N. America – lets break free – let’s stop painting all our trim white!

    – I’ll start!

Lavie – I’m looking for ’06-’07 issues if you have them. Thank you. :)

Calie – In this case, a swap doesn’t mean giving up your copies, it usually means buying brand new ones and sending them in exchange for brand new mags from another part of the world.

P&F – I don’t think you’ve commented before, welcome. :) Where does your German friend live?

Cartolina – I loved that picture as well, I like the idea of painting molding a soft pastel or something deep like blue, black, or teal. I’d love to see a room with white walls, black molding, and a black hardwood high gloss floor. YUM.

My husband is in Norway right now, so I will have him bring home a few for you when he comes home on Friday!

Dah…that makes sense. I must be doing too many things that it didn’t dawn on me that you send new copies. All I can say its been a LONG week :-)

Just wanted you to know, that if you ever need help with translations on norwegian sites, let me know. I’m Norwegian and could always use some training in translating to english. Here are some links to norwegian magazines:
    http://www.rom123.no/
    http://www.bobedrenorge.no/
    http://www.bonytt.no/
    http://www.vakrehjem.com/
    http://www.maison.no/

Not that exciting really… :( My favorite magazine is Interi?r Magasinet, but they haven’t even got a website. End Elle Interi?r is a good one as well, but their website is under construction…

    Hi there!

I live in Norway and have a lot of old and new magazines to swap. I run a store so I?m always looking for new suppliers, and a lot of them I find from the magazines, but my space is limited so I could absolutely be able to seperate me from som Boligmagasinet(dk), Elle interi?r(no) and Sk?na hem(se).
And of ccourse I?m able to go out and buy new ones and ship. Let me know!
