Susanne Schjerning

I think you'll really like this new collection by Susanne Schjerning called Happy Horses, I know I do. I spotted it in the August issue of Bolig Liv and fell in love. It's great to see horses as a motif and I love the way she presents them.

Her work reminds me a lot of Atelier LZC, Orike Muth, and Rice for some reason, all design houses are ones that I watch regularly to see what's in the works. I like how feminine Susanne's designs are and that they have subtle patterns layered beneath the bolder ones, this gives them such dimension and even more, they somewhat seem to be telling a story. Her palette is one that you can look to for inspiration I think, all the colors used in a single design make me think of how they'd look together in an outfit, room, table setting, or arts and crafts projects.
