Lindylou2 is such a sweet little etsy shop! This Austin-based crafter specializes in handmade coasters, bags, fat quarters, pillowcases, and other pretty things – lots of Amy Butler and Heather Bailey fabrics – yay! I love the frayed edges of these coasters (so boho!) and for $7 for a set of 4, they’d make a great gift.

    What are fat quarters?
    Round rooms? Overstuffed
    fabric coins? Giant pieces of
pie? Fractions in bold, thick fonts?

I’m glad you asked. A fat quarter is 1/4th yard of fabric that usually measures 18×22″ instead of the typical 9×42″ 1/4 cut so it yields a better piece of fabric for projects because it’s a complete ‘fat’ square.
