I’m signing off for the day, so I’m wish you a happy weekend, I hope you have a lovely one! And remember, when preparing quiche don’t forget the nutmeg (1/2 teaspoon), it makes all the difference. From decorating to the kitchen, it’s all about adding that little extra, right?

See you on Monday and thank you so much for your supportive comments and emails this week, your words of kindness really helped get me through and I’ve been sharing each of them with my husband, who is impressed by how many of you wrote in and/or commented on the blog. You are all amazing men and women, really – I so appreciate every nice word, kindness goes a very long way.

Holly,
I know it’s been a tough week. Quiche helps, as does hugs, caring words and support. Don’t let work stop you from a good cry. Those we love, continue to live in our memories and hearts. Each day is so precious, thanks for sharing your heart! In our hearts and prayers! b

Hi Holly,
So very sorry to hear about your loss. As you might remember I recently lost my ex husband and wonderful friend who also happenned to be a writer and poet. Just before he died he published a poem that has helped me beyond measure. You can go here to my post “where petals fall” to read. Maybe it can give you some of the comfort it has given me. Take care, k

FUnny. I actually did make quiche this weekend (zuchini & tomato from our garden), and I did not include nutmeg! Will have to try that next time.
