Hop Skip Jump

I can hardly contain my excitement, so I have to share with you my new dolly with rosy cheeks made by Fiona from Hop Skip Jump in Australia. Would you like to meet Juliet?

Fiona is a super talented lady and when she sends an email stating that her dolls or monkeys will be in her etsy shop, you know you better set your clock because if you snooze, you lose! Her dolls sell out the instant she posts them on etsy and I always miss them despite how hard I try to log in at the exact time. Happy to say, I finally have a new doll from Hop Skip Jump and I can’t believe it.

My love for handmade dolls goes way back, as my aunt always made dolls and bears for me and I still remember the excitement when a box arrived from auntie Patty in the mail. One day when I have children of my own, I want to sew dolls for them just like this one.

I know how you feel. I just welcomed Mira into my home last month. I love her.
