Inspiration Boards {on flickr}
I’ve been following the Inspiration Boards group on flickr lately, and after browsing the group again last night, I thought blogging about it should be on the agenda for today. Who doesn’t love a beautiful mood board? A secret corner to dream? A creative nook to call your very own?
The inspired corner is the workspace of Lovely Designlocated in Vancouver, Canada. (What gorgeous paint on her walls.)
The Inspiration Boards group was initiated by Castanet, aka Lori Pickert, who now authors a blog under the same name. Here is just a tiny sampling of the inspirational imagery that you’ll find in both the group and the blog. And if you’d like to contribute a board of your own, you can join the group and submit photos of your own.
More beauty from Lovely Design. Check out that globe!

Holly…you need to slow down. Boy you are really working today…so many great posts!
Sharilyn at Lovely Design is great. Love the board (so tidy she is).
When I saw the Anthropologie pic I thought it was someone’s studio at first. I thought I was gonna have to go hurt someone. Just can’t help myself…l-l-love Anthro!!!

Such loveliness! I fell in love with the paint color on Lovely Design’s wall as well, and Nicole from Making It Lovely was kind enough to direct me to Sharilyn’s custom Benjamin Moore paint formula:

thank you for the lovely mention, holly!
i love this group and this blog, yet i feel very “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!” about it .. it is really about this great group of creative people and their generosity in sharing what inspires them.

Whoa…
that cat teatowel in the Anthropologie window is a design of my aunt’s from the 60s. I wonder if she still has any of those bad boys lying around…

my husband wants a movie room in our dream home, with a projector screen and leather seats BUT all I want is a craft room.

I love those, I have so many images that inspire me but my room is so small (and I have roommates) so I usually keep a folder on my computer w/these things. I need to have them in the open somehow!

Holly, every time I visit your blog I’m amazed at how much effort and attention you give to every post. You really should have your own magazine. :)

I love cluttered cork boards (tastefully cluttered that is ;-). I’m also digging Mr. Jack Rabbit there?the enlightening gaze coming from that eye is intoxicating!
