Etsy Take Five Tuesdays

Ready to see a few of my Etsy faves for the week? Okay, let's go! Oh, and if you've missed previous Take Five Tuesdays please click here to catch up on your reading. :)

You may have spotted the work of artist Michele Maule a few times already over in my Etsy favorites (left column). Her work is excellent -- I especially like all the vintage blue typewriters that she paints and her soft color palette is simply dreamy. I broke down and ordered one of her original paintings of a typewriter last month and now I can't wait for it to arrive. I think you'll really like her work.

Cricicis Design is a small paper goods company based in Boston. The second I spotted cards with northern German cities on them (like Hannover, yay!), I placed an order. Her designs are modern and clean with an energetic color palette.

Soop is fun little design firm that is London-based. They create home products and rings, their home accessories are available right here and their quirky rings are in the Soop etsy store. The rings are unique, you can use several different designs, animals and such, to create your own unique landscape on your finger. I know, sounds confusing so you have to visit their etsy store and see for yourself.

Wren and Chickadee is a shop owned by Ez of Creature Comforts and her little daughter. With Ez at the wheel, it should be no surprise that the vintage, remade, and handmade items she has for sale are lovely. Ez has outstanding taste, her blog is one of my daily reads and as a person she is tops - a non-competitive blogger, genuinely supportive, easy to talk to, caring, and we've become very good e-friends just recently. She's also the girl behind this decor8 post. I'm a big fan of Ez.

Blue Citrus Art is a female photographer originally from Europe now based in Encino, California. Her current focus is on the desert and she loves taking polaroids. I've never been to the CA desert but have always wanted to go and until I do, I will dream through Irene's photos. I really like the donkey shown above in the middle of the highway and the old abandoned diner. To view more of her work, click here. Special promotion: Buy anything in her etsy store and get a free 5" x 5" or 7" x 5" print of any photo you choose!
