I’m wrapping things up early today since I’m going away for the weekend, but I’ll be back on Monday with another week of posts here on decor8. :) I hope everyone is doing good out there, so often I wish I could pull all of you into a room and we could say hello in person but that’s a hard gathering to organize! This online world is really a great place to be, so thank you for reading decor8 and hanging out with me this week. It’s nice to know you’re out there reading. Your comments and emails make my day.
Here’s a few great sales for the week from our sponsors that you can hopefully use:

Hi Holly,
I too own this bag which I bought from Twig (love it!). I recently noticed that the dye from some of my jeans had rubbed off on the bag and I was wondering if you have experienced the same thing. I even contacted the Orlay Kiely website for this issue, but they just directed me to their customer care website which offered me no help. If you have some secret stain removal weapon/method I would love to know. I have tried everything, Tide pen, Mr Clean Erasure and nothing has helped. Thanks!

Anon — Hmmmm. I haven’t encountered that with my Orla bags but that doesn’t mean much, I haven’t used them much since it’s still winter here in New Hampshire and I don’t use them that often yet. I have a large Orla luggage back made from oilcloth and just use a cloth and water or a little vinegar and water. But it’s not totally clean, though I’ve kinda realized that trying to keep luggage clean is about as easy as keeping a 2-year-old clean – why bother?
I have this happen ALL THE TIME to suede bags I buy, it drives me nuts. My black wool coat turned my saffron Anthropologie suede bag into a black-stained mess. I’m so sad.

I must get this bag! I will be the envy of every bedraggled metro commuters here in Montreal! Personally, I love the wear n tear my bags go through. I have an m058 bag and it’s scratched, worn out in places and my 3 year old even scribbled on it in marker. It still looks great & has character!

Love the latter and new blog banner.
Wouldn’t it be fun to try and pull together a few of us Northeast artisans for a day of play on my beach this summer? I have plenty of parking..now my muse is imagining altered art with seashells, sand etc…Do you know of anyone else? Love the tablecloth and sweater!

Wait, I cannot find the multi-colored,petal Orla Kiely bag on any of those websites–would you mind telling me specifically where I can find that one? Thanks :)

It was at Twig but I think the owner ran out of stock. You can email her to check and see if she can arrange to get one especially for you, her name is Elizabeth and she is a wonderful person to work with — so helpful.
