There’s a design competition for kids sponsored by 10 Grain and Coochicoos that I’d like to share called the Perfect Playhouse Design Competition.
Ask your child, “What’s your perfect playhouse?” and let them present their designs in any way using any medium they want. This sounds so cute. Details here.

I love this idea. I design semi-precious stone jewelry. I am 12 and I just started an etsy page and a blog. As a kid who designs new things all the time, I think this design a playhouse idea is so cool!! Cambria

I love this competition!!! Especially because when I was about 8 years old, I spent hours drawing my perfect tree house! The “elevator” that would help me get up to it, the little kitchen where I would eat my PB and J sandwiches, playroom complete with my own TV (but still without remote control!). After drawing it, I would show it to my older sister, then she would grade it.
