Cape Cod-based Melissa Averinos from the beautiful blog Yummy Goods wrote in about an exciting announcement that she made today — she’ll soon debut a line of fabric called Sugar Snap for Free Spirit that will be available in August ’08. How cool is that? Here’s a peek.

Great colors and patterns, imagine how happy she must be to launch a line of fabric, thrilling! Just imagine all of the fun projects for the sew queens out there, myself included. She also just helped design the new Free Spirit blog, buttons and banners by Averinos herself. This is one busy lady on the move. Congrats, Melissa!

This reminds me of Anna Maria Horner’s “stuff” – another fabric designer. Nice, nice, nice!
