Art of Lily Pang Studio

Lily Pang is a full-time artist and a new mother with a lovely and affordable ($15 range) body of work for sale at Dawanda. Lily was born in China, studied in America, and now she’s based in Singapore where she just opened her Dawanda shop a few months ago — already she has a growing group of devoted fans. Clearly you can see why…

Her palette is dreamy and her images are soft, some resembling batik art and just so happen to be the ones that I really like. It’s interesting to see an artist translate a batik scarf into a painting as Lily mentions doing for one of her paintings. Some of her pieces begin as ink drawings and then are completed digitally when she cleans it up and adds color, others are acrylic paintings from start to finish. She also accepts commissions so if you are interested you may contact her via her blog.
