A big thank you to all 216 who entered, each comment was dear to Kelly and I and we were touched by how many shared intimate details regarding career decisions and goals. Thank you for being so open and honest. We have a great community here (on the web), I encourage you all to connect with one another through comments left on decor8 (click around on the commenter’s name, blog/website, etc.) and get to know the person behind the words… make connections! I can’t even begin to express how deeply such relationships mean to me that I’ve found on the web through blogs like this one. Connecting to those who ‘get us’ can do a whole bunch of good things for the soul. There is nothing quite like finding a good friend to stimulate creative thinking and who encourages us to reach for our dreams. I am new to the blogging world, and am finding that there aren’t many networking opportunities for designer’s/creative’s in Canada. Holly, do you know of any? Or is there anyone else out there in Canada that know’s about any?
I’ve searched high and low, and I’m not having much luck ! Hmmm, maybe I should start one. (lightbulb goes off in head!!!)
