I’m a Featured Buyer on Etsy!

Oh my goodness I’m so excited! I just found out that today Etsy posted my article in their Featured Buyer column. Weeeeeeeee!

I’m soooo happy. Click here to view it. I have to go see what comments have been left, I can’t wait to see what Etsy readers have to say about my article on shopping handmade. This is really exciting for me, I’ve been shopping Etsy since Feb. 2006 and never expected they’d ask me to participate in this series. Thank you, Etsy!

Loved your article on etsy. It really oozed with the love you have for the handmade movement, and etsy artists especially! And I loved seeing your apartment photos all in one place. Great job!

I purchased a necklace from PianoBenchDesigns yesterday after you featured her on your site. I told her in the comments when I purchased the necklace that I found out about her from your site – she was delighted with the way you feature Etsy artists :)

I’m back!!! Well that was interesting and a first for me as have never commented there before…phew! I so agree with you about the whole personal “beating heart behind the item” thing and also that etsy items make great gifts. There is an etsy felt maker of celtic brooches in one of my groups and she is astonishingly talented and her brooches are under $10..so really great gift ideas….especially with Christmas coming up

As much as I hate reading the Storque and how things go down there, in this case, I’ll make an exception. :)

    Congrats.

It was a lovely article full of enthusiasm and love for what people are doing. You’re right about how it changes how we shop. I now look first on etsy, and then in the brick and mortar shops. Christmas is going to be a pleasure this year,no queueing, no traffic. I’ll just sick back with a cofffee and browse through beautiful things made by people who care about the customer and their product. Can you tell I LOVE it too
