Happy Weekend!

Time for the weeeeekend! I hope that you have a wonderful few days, make sure to do something fun and I’ll meet you back here on Monday with more deals from decor8 sponsors and then, on Tuesday, our non-sponsor discounts will run between Tuesday-Friday from several really good shops (trust me). In the meantime, please sit back and enjoy these beautiful black and white bedrooms, just lovely in their perfection I think, all found on the pages of LivingEtc magazine.

See you on Monday friends!

BTW - Anyone else loving black and white lately?

Lovely pics! I’m loving black and white at the moment too, my bedroom is currently undergoing a black/white revamp, with a bit of bright orange in there for a bit of interest.

Great rooms, I love the first bedroom. I always come back to black and white but love when there’s a pop of another color added in as well, like a great yellow or kelly green or even just a vase of hot pink flowers, livens up the space and adds another dimension I think.

Obsessed with Black and White right now! I am hesitating to re-do my bedroom in though, for fear that I will get over it by the time the room is done! It’s such a clean, elegant color scheme but also has great potential for graphic contrast!

The way you have the black and white in the photos is calm and soothing and sometimes unexpected for black and white. I have just recently fallen in love with gray!

Wonderful inspiration. Hope you have a wonderful weekend too. I love Living Etc. They have great stylists and photographers and I loooove the different issues each and every one of them. In Sweden we can also buy Living Etc. for a “special price” (39 SEK) each month at a store called Pressbyr?n - which makes Living Etc. cheaper than the Swedish magazines - even though is from UK.

I love Black and White. My room is basically all BW right now with pops of Red Yellow and other Bright colors! I love it. I can combine things into my room without having to think about it too much.

Thanks for the photos! I really love the giant doily rug in the last pic. I was looking on the LivingEtc site but I could find these pics. Do you happen to know the rug is from???

These black and white rooms are lovely. I love black and white especially with little pops of color such as the red lamp shade and the yellow accent pillow. Black and white is so fresh and clean in appearance and I especially love the black headboard in the second photo. Nice find…:)

    I always love the B/W-combination.
The bed is great - it looks a bit like the yellow IKEA-bed which I really like - only the fact that it’s yellow is something I don’t like about it. So bying it in yellow and painting it white— seems to be a good idea.

Beautiful!! Oh I love black and white bedrooms. My bedroom at my little tiny house in the country has been black and white since day one… I painted the concrete charcoal grey and the walls stark white. With all bedding and such in black and or white (whitewashed antique mantle headboard, etc.). I find it quite soothing, and difficult palette to walk away from…

Beautiful rooms!! I have that same four poster bed, but in sage at the city house… I am tempted to paint it white, I actually had been thinking about it, but am now more inpsired to do so…

And that low hung lamp in the last photo is wonderful!! Lovely sharing as usual Miss Holly!! Thank you!

Black & white has always been my favorite! Right now my bedroom is black & white with orange accents. I’m also planning to redo my art studio soon. I’m on the fence and can’t decide what pop of color I want to add to it though. I’m leaning towards lime green.

Kristin - Not sure where the bedding is from in the 2nd photo but you could go with vintage French linens (to mimic the colonial feel here) or Indian block prints if you are interested in a more ethic feel. Try these shops:

    Indian: http://tinyurl.com/ShalinCraft
    French: http://tinyurl.com/EuroLinens
    French: http://tinyurl.com/Souleiado
    Indian: http://www.johnrobshaw.com
    Euro/Ethno: http://www.carolinairvingtextiles.com/
    Indian: http://peterdunhamtextiles.com/

Or buy some white linen, black fabric paint, and hand stamp your own? I know, a bit daring but if you have a steady hand and tons of patience perhaps it will work…
