If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands! {clap clap} Yay, It’s Friday! It’s Friday! La la la la la! Twirl around and sing with me… Yes I’m nuts but I’m completely happy imagining two full days without an ounce of work to do and lots of fun plans. I will paint some more mini paintings this weekend, hit the flea market in the morning, attend a big dinner party tomorrow night, and on Sunday I’ll spend time with a friend watching movies and sharing a meal here in my apartment. I’m so excited for the weekend to start.
Next week on decor8 I will host a contest where you can win an amazing book all about creativity, launching a successful career as a creative, working on the left brain as you continue to develop the right…. wow I could go on forever about this newly released book but I’m not going to say another word until Monday morning, November 24th. Then the contest will be posted and 5 winners will be selected and announced on Thursday so make sure you visit on Monday to see what the contest thing-y is all about. You’ll like it, I promise.
What do you plan to do this weekend? Write your list here and return on Monday to report in on your progress if you’d like. I’ll do the same. Keeps us accountable I think. See you in a few days!

What do you plan to do this weekend?
Faye & I will attend this years Brickbottom Open Studios (http://brickbottomartists.com). Brickbottom is a sprawling complex of buildings with beautiful lofts and talented artists. It’s our favorite open studio event of the year. Besides the Fort Point open studios. And the Distillery Open Studios. Always a fun time! Have a great weekend.

Oops! I hope I’m not too late on this one – today (Saturday) I have managed to do all the things I was hoping to do (go for a run, go to the library for my next college assignment, get the ingredients for Christmas pudding and hang a couple of pictures); this evening I’ll be babysitting, so I plan to read some of the books I got out of the library and do some work on that. Tomorrow, as well as continuing my college work, I plan to make my Christmas pudding, write a blog post about it and make a pencil case out of some super fabric I got last weekend. I hope everyone’s weekend is going well!

I will be taking my 6-year old to a community movie-viewing, taking her to horse-riding lessons and bowling party and try to squeeze in time to work on my canvas and go for a nice long 7 mile run in the woods.

Good morning! I managed to make my Christmas pud and pencil case, but then spent about 2.5 hrs wrestling with my internet to write blog posts about them! I’m now about to settle down to some more college work.
How did everyone else get on?

Following up from the weekend and my to-do list (I’m comment #2 above) – yeah…I didn’t get any of that done. Instead I shopped for some much needed clothes, crocheted two cowboy hats for my nephews for Xmas and began knitting flowers that I will sew on to the sleeve of a sweater for my holiday party. I also ate too much, tried to put out the fire that burned my neighbor’s shed to the ground (my hose didn’t do much but I tried) and took my Mom to lunch. All in all, still a very productive weekend!
