Photographer Anna Wolf

The work of Anna Wolf is just lovely and her online portfolio is certainly a joy to peruse. I’m sure you will recognize her work from some of your favorite magazines and catalogs. She’s everywhere!

I especially enjoy the photographs she’d taken for a past issue of Bust magazine showing a fun party and I liked how casual and welcoming they felt. I enjoy photos showing good times shared amongst friends, couples cooking together, mothers cuddling their young on the sofa. They are touching and you can’t help but want to cut and paste yourself right into the scene… I guess that’s precisely what a good photo should do. Please take some time this weekend to enjoy talented Anna Wolf and her incredible online portfolio. And a major bonus: She maintains a blog, too.

The portfolio is so summer-road-trip-across-the-country-do-it-before-you-have-kids dreamy. I’m wistful! Thank you!

I heard about Anna about two years ago when my roommate was looking for people to intern with in New York. She ended up interning with her that summer. Anna’s photos are AMAZING. I love how she captures light, everything just looks pretty. My roommate learned a lot. You can check out her stuff here at http://www.kelseyfoster.net/.

I’d really like to learn where she learned her photography skills.

Do you know which publication the bottom/ left image is from? I am in LOVE with that dark grey top, and would LOVE to try and track it down. The colour, the shape, everything, I LOVE IT! Thanks so much :)
