I came across Ink & Spindle last night via the beautiful blog Twig & Thistle authored by Kathleen Gibson and had a feeling I’d be writing about this gorgeous fabric company today (thanks Kathleen for contacting me). I am so happy to once again have stumbled upon another business founded by several creative types sharing a common vision. Collaboration is definitely a theme for ’09 and I’m loving it.
Ink & Spindle specializes in gorgeous hand printed textiles and is co-owned by Lara Cameron based out of Australia, you may know her blog Kirin Notebook. Lara’s business partners, Tegan and Bianca van Meeuwen, share a blog under the same name right here so please go visit them to learn more about these talented ladies and their very special business of making beautiful fabrics. They are blogging about their textiles, participating in shows, selling fabric online, hand printing it together in their studio, this is the stuff that dreams are made of and this dream team is doing it right because Ink & Spindle is taking off and we’re all taking notice.
Bianca, Lara & Tegan, the go-get-’em ladies behind Ink & Spindle.

Love the Ink & Spindle fabrics. I’ve been thinking about the birch pattern for some time, I’d really love it as a wallpaper.
I bookmarked Ink & Spindle with another Aussie Printer – check out Sprout Design for more awesomeness:

I love their fabrics! One of the first things we ended up buying for our new home is some fabric from them! I think I’ll make pillow cases from it :)

I really recommend Ink & Spindle! Great customer service, and with the low Australian dollar, it’s good for international shopping. (Not to mention lovely fabrics!)

Yay for Ink & Spindle!! I have some of Lara’s fabrics (LOVE the house one).
Ok. My MOTHER has some of Lara’s fabrics, making some cushions FOR me.
Because it just wouldn’t be right to put me + a sewing machine anywhere near them.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the cylindrical objects, are they just pure prettiness or are they light shades too? I need me some new light shades, and those are just perfecto!
