Treat & Company

Now that the entire internet knows Domino has folded, let’s move on to other things to remove that sinking feeling, shall we? I normally skip photographing press kits I receive (kinda tacky) but one arrived yesterday from Treat & Company that was so cute I can’t NOT share what was inside… a real treat indeed.

It’s a vinyl poster that says Eliminate Ugly and it’s very sweet. I absolutely agree with the message! Treat & Company is a product design and development company, kind of like a think tank, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It’s the kind of company you can imagine will churn out magic in the coming months… Their website is interactive, fun, and fresh. I reminds me ever so slightly of decor8, at least the colors, papers, staples, and other elements that make the site feel more touchy-feely and not quite as website-ish.

Seeing their site makes me want to freshen up decor8 again in a few  months, I want to keep the colors and stuff that I have going on but definitely want a logo change and need to find someone to help me with that. Ideally, I’d like a new font for the logo and I’d like to change the banner as I’m not entirely keen on some of my graphics there. I also need to develop the content under the Wanted tab. I have ideas for a new background to replace the linen. I’m always looking for ways to freshen up my blog… Treat & Company is my new website idol. I LOVE how they’ve branded themselves… accessible, handmade vibe, absolute gorgeousness. If you need product design and development definitely check these guys out!

I think after this post they may need to start selling the Eliminate Ugly poster because my guess is that you’ll want one for yourself, am I right?

Oh, I’ve been away from the internet for a while… this is the first I’ve heard of this… they can bring Victoria back from the dead, but they let Domino die. I’m soooo bummed.
