Orla Kiely @ Target February 15th

Some Target’s have a few Orla pieces out, others do not. Thank goodness they JUST POSTED word on their website that Orla’s collection is confirmed to be in stores not today (as I was informed by their ‘people’) but on the 15th. I wanted to let everyone know ASAP since so many of you are excited to get your hands on this collection.

Don’t miss Orla herself here on this video at Target.com. See you in the morning, all!

How strange! I just tried searching for Orla Kiely on the Target website and got nothing. If not for your link to the video on the Target website, I would have thought that I was imagining all this. Thanks for letting us know the scoop.

I was at Target this morning and found the Orla Kiely for Target items — very few, though. The shoe organizers, laundry bag, magazine holders, and some bins were there. I’m looking forward to the kitchen items and a Target employee said that they will be out next Sunday, 2/8.

Oh! I’m so glad you posted this! I rushed in to Target at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua yesterday and they had this TINY display with a handful of things. I bought 2 bins (the only ones of their color and size), but was so disappointed that it was all they had, since they were nice! I’m glad to know it was just a preview of what is to come!

I went to my Target TWICE this weekend looking for it and came up empty. I actually went to the Target website from my BB in the store and their press release online said Feb 1… REALLY appreciate the update or I’d have been back there this week!

Or it’s a clever ploy to get people to come to the stores multiple times thinking *this* will be the time the Orla stuff will be in stock.

After all, you know that once you step inside Target you’re spending at least $100.

I took a trip to target this weekend hoping to snag a bunch of orla kiely stuff but they had nothing. amazing what affect an unfruitful trip to target can have on your mood.

Hi. My sister and I found the closet organizers, shoe racks, laundry bag and magazine holders at our local Targets today. One of the clerks said they came in last week. Best bet it to check periodically or call your local target so you don’t miss out.

THANK YOU for the update. I was at Target yesterday – bought a letter tray that is actually quite large and sturdy – LOVE IT. ($12.99) and then a laundry bag in an adorable print – for about $6.99. Both items are in their new homes in my apartment..and have made me smile each time I catch a glimpse of them!

Cannot wait for this Sunday or the next to pick up some kitchen items.

I was wondering when stuff would go up online! I’ve been compulsively checking to see what I can order (alas, we have no Target in Europe so I have to have things shipped to friends).

Do you know how much of the line will be available? Hopefully more will be available that were with the John Derian collection. That was such a tease! They had things posted on the website that you could only buy in store.

I lusted after the coasters, but couldn’t get any. A few months after his line was released, I went to Target and found stuff still there, including the coasters I wanted. The best part? They were marked down from 12.99 to 1.98 a set!!

Words cannot explain how EXCITED I am about this line of products. They’re so adorable. I’m looking forward to buying an apron and some canisters.

I went to two Target stores with my friend yesterday in the SF area and nothing. We asked multiple sales associates and at customer service and NONE had any clue what we were talking about. Bad showing Target. It was such a let down I am debating whether or not to even go back.

Just so you know my experience was a tiny endcap on the row where laudry/storage stuff is (not the linens section). It is not a ton of stuff out right now – magazine organizers, shoe racks, closet organizers, and milk crate cube bins. It was the scribble spot flower (big and little flowers). There was nothing drawing attention to it. So look carefully or you will miss it.

thanks for information and it is good to know that other people feel the same way about miss kiely’s designs. I was trying to come to peace with the idea that maybe this target, in fairfield, ca, would not have this. And the peace was helped along by new jcrew catalog and yummy pearly bracelet. thanks Miss holly and all other commenters/readers here. juju

Of 4 stores in the Portland, OR area, only one had the laundry bags, shoe oragnizers and bins as seen by others. Would love to find the kitchen products and am stalking every Target in town to try to find them.

As others have noted, Target employees (and in one case, a store manager) knew nothing about the new line. :(

You can pre-order some of the Scribble pattern and Pop Flower pattern online-mugs and plates-at target.com.
Today I went to two Target’s on Long Island, NY. Same story as all have said-a tiny end cap at each with the storage boxes, hanging organizer, laundry bags. I bought two of the bags just out of fear I’ll find nothing else.

I asked two people at the store if they knew anything about the incoming goods and they didn’t. One was standing near the end cap with me and said she had never heard of Kiely and I pointed to her name and the salesperson just shrugged. I think it’s an intentional move by Target to make people come into the stores multiple times, but it’s annoying.

People should stop panicking about getting pieces right away. When has Target ever sold out of something? That store restocks for months! Besides, I know Target said pieces won’t be available online, but as fleamarketbetty pointed out, you can already pre-order some stuff. So, moral of the story? Don’t worry! We’ll all get a piece of the Orla Kiely action (well, except the non-Americans of course :( )

Actually, I’ve been to several stores lately. I scored at one where they were just putting the office stuff out. At another one I went to they only had some of the housewares out, and most of it was picked over. No pear trays, no serving bowls, but lots of cups and mugs, and some plates.

Ann Arbor MI Target had plates, mugs, plastic tumblers, (one 2 tier tray) 2 ceramic vases, shoe organizer, magazine & laundry bag – almost bought laundry bag to try using for patio pillows. Hmm.

the pear print reuseable shopping bags for 1.99 were over in the food section with the target reuseable bags.
    happy hunting.

I just bought all of the melamine dishes, bowls and tumblers. The two tier tray is adorable and I highly recommend buying it. The serving tray is cute but kind of small. The canister were a disappointment – the lids did not seal shut. Why did she not make them out of melamine. There isn’t much on a small endcap.

I agree Target did a poor job merchandising – they need to take a hint from Martha Stewart crafts at Michaels and consolidate to all one aisle.

Off to find more Orla – bye

The first Target I went to promptly at 8am today with my husband. It was a Super Target in Moreno Valley, CA.. They had 2 small Orla Kiely displays; one had various storage bins, laundry bag, the different sized organizers, etc. The other had the aprons, placemats, dishtowels, tableclothes, potholders, coasters, and 2 melamine serving bowls. I bought the 3 aprons, a set of coasters, 2 serving bowls. I then went to my local Target in Riverside and they literally only had 2 storage boxes. I was surprised as “the 15th” was suppose to be the day the full displays would be out! Does aanyone have any other info. as to how difficult its going to be to get that 2-tier serving tray?

I have managed to acquire everything I have been looking for. It has taken me many, many trips to the six (!) different Targets here in Tucson over the course of a week, along with some trips to the customer service desk to get stuff pulled from the back that was sitting waiting to be put out on the floor. The roll out has sure been inconsistent…some Targets had everything, some had nothing, some had stuff hiding in the back room, etc. etc.

The only item I have not been able to find is the reusable shopping bag. Anyone else have any luck with this? I would love it if we could work out an arrangement to get one for me.
