I wrote about some really cute finds at Target over here today… including heart shaped mixing bowls. Has anyone noticed their bird motif popping up all over the store from post-it notes to candles? Very kawaii I think. Not typical for Target, it’s something I’d expect from HEMA but not so much Target. Regardless, I’m liking it!

I love these post-its… They are a bit grade school I know, but whatever. Being an adult means accepting the inner 8-year-old and shopping for her sometimes, too. :)

I love those post it notes! But I admit that my taste is not particularly sophisticated when it comes to these things — I tend to go with the more colorful and ridiculous, the better.
Love the rhino in the plant by the way!!

Wow, cute stuff! I do have to say, though, that something as functional as a mixing bowl shouldn’t be in the shape of a heart. It should be in its most functional shape. I mean, the bowl could be colored or decorated in some cute way, but there’s a reason for the typical shape and proportion. Anyway, great finds!

I love those little birdy post-its! I’ll have to head over to Target and take a look at their new bird theme.

I did notice all the kawaii- like items at Target. I think I could have easily blown $100 on such things alone this past Saturday, but I resisted. I did, however, managed to find one small display panel of Orla Kiely items after meandering throughout the store for 45 minutes: canvas bins, magazine holder, laundry bags, and shoe holders (?). No melamine items or aprons (yet). I’m going to make more trips to Tar-jey this week. Ugh, my poor wallet! I guess this is my way of “stimulating the economy.” ;)

I always find something I like in Target. A little throw rug, a frame, candleholders, a mirror, a carton of playdough…that store always gets me into trouble!

I’d love to make it outta the store without spending more than $50! Of course, I also have a ton of baby/kid supplies to get…but still, I can never resist all their home goodies especially their terrific sales!! I, too, spied Orla Kiely canvas/box storage items over the weekend but wasn’t totally bowled over. I’m holding off until I see their other housewares.
