I got the bed from a New York- based company but that exact model has since been discontinued (probably for the best, that whole structure was a bit unsturdy.) Once I got it, I built it with the help of a set builder, and I painted it white, same as the walls, because it came in a hideous shade of light oak. yuck.

Hi Robin,

I’ve been searching for photos of the loft bed/closet since my “Dominos” are in storage. So glad to have found you! Did you use a kit to build the bed or go by eye? If the plans are yours, will you be making them available? Love the use of Elfa storage.

I love her design style…………..it really shows through! I’m not sure I would have done the bed on top and closet below but it is a clever way to utilize the space.

Thanks CG! ps the bottom of my bed...the fabric ceiling...is made from two pieces of foam core that i upholstered with the fabric on a friday evening....can't believe it came out looking normal!! robins last blog post: Everybody, place your bets.

No questions, but I want to say that I LOVE the fabric room and high bed. What an innovative use of a small space. I can see so many possibilities with that idea. Very creative.

It’s from Anthropologie, but I bought it without sitting in it and the wicker seat isn’t very sturdy. I returned it because I didn’t want to have to worry about it breaking on me. It’s a knock off of the Marais Chair, which comes in a ton of great colors from DWR but was too expensive for me.

I know that Arteriors Home makes a knock off too, but they are a wholesaler. I’m on the hunt for a retailer who has it and will post back with some cheaper answers!
