Photography by Yvette Inufio

Today I wrote about photographer Yvette Inufio at Real Simple and I have a feeling that you’ll really enjoy her work… See?

What a beautiful image to begin the day. This photo reminds me of my grandparents farm in the Spring — freshly dug earth, a vintage floral tablecloth, homemade iced tea sipped from a canning jar, a white cotton blouse with swiss dots, the smell of blossoming field flowers…

looking at almost any element in nature reminds me where all of our basic elements in Art come from – line, form, contrast, shape, composition, repetition, balance, harmony. Whenever I feel like I need to be reminded how all these elemnts can work together, I look no further than a great flower, or gaze out the window at the forrest behind my house…because nature gets it right everytime.

Beautiful photo…it captures those elements perfectly.
