From one Holly to another…we are of the same cloth, lady. And name! Every day without fail I roll my hair–since I was 17, I’ll bet! (31 now. Oy.) And I’ve been sporting a full face of makeup since 6th grade. There are few things I love more than a glam makeup counter, or hours spent in Sephora looking at colors.
Something about putting on makeup appeases my painting side, I think! Well, that, and my grandmother doing my nails from the time I was two and always reminding me to ‘never leave the house without your face on.’ God love Southern gals! Even if I’m staying home, that hair is getting done and that makeup is on. And if I’m in a rush, I’ll run errands in my rollers. Coffee shop. Gas station. Market. I say it makes me memorable…the one quality I’d choose over any other!
