Printmaker Unity Coombes

I found fine art printmaker Unity Coombes on Flickr yesterday and I really like her style, it’s right up my alley. I love this picture of Unity in her studio in Cornwall, England surrounded by her beautiful illustrations. She appears to be quite happy with the work she is doing. It’s so inspiring to see where women create, don’t you think? I especially like her birds with their patterned feathers.

I’m not sure where she sells her work, perhaps she’ll consider opening a shop at Folksy or Etsy (hint, hint).

Illustrator Amy Blackwell

I was thinking this morning that I should occassionally spotlight sellers over at Folksy for readers based in the UK and Europe. Today I’d like to share with you one that I really like, Illustrator Amy Blackwell, whom I featured this morning over at Real Simple.

So sweet!

New Clocks by Decoylab

Dainty die cut clocks are a nice way to begin the week don’t you think? These feminine beauties are brand new over at Decoylab this morning and ship worldwide. I wonder if the’ll give me a few more hours in a day, like eight additional hours? Most likely not, but at least one would look pretty in my home.

I ordered the flower clock for my apartment in Hannover because well, it is hard to write about so many pretty things without sometimes pulling out my wallet. How can a blogger resist? And a clock is an absolute necessity. Oh yes, absolutely. And so I justify…
