Oooh! How could I have missed this gem of a post over at El beso blog? You have to visit El beso to see all of the photos but I love this Berlin apartment owned by interior designer Alexander Stutz and movie producer Gerald Backhaus. They discovered this 1906 apartment in east Berlin and after loads of restoration they revealed its original art nouveau bones.
I love Berlin. Especially living like this in Berlin.

Karina who authors the El beso blog based in Argentina, thought I’d like a post she wrote about a tea house that she recently visited. Why of course! It’s called Lavanda Casa de Te and at first glance you’d think this to be Provence but it is really Frutillar, a small German style town within Chile. What a beautiful place. Doesn’t this transport you out of the office today straight into the land of lavender breezes, cozy cottages, and delicious teas and cakes?
This just makes me long to visit South America even more.

How many of you read the Daily Candy? I was once a fanatic but these days I only read their Weekend edition and the Daily Candy Deals. Today the deals email rolled in and I spotted Charles Fradin and a 25% off discount… Out of curiosity, and okay the word letterpress caught my eye, I clicked over and found this beauty of a recipe box. Delicious. See for yourself.
Isn’t this a great recipe box? I would consider it, but I use a recipe organizer that’s a bit of a folder/binder and it is by Cath Kidston. I’d love a wood and letterpress rolodex similar to the box shown above… how pretty would that be? Something like this one from Margaret and Walter on Etsy only with letterpressed tabs. Someone go make that and list it in your shop! Quick! And use a variety of found papers inside, from wallpaper scraps to graph paper.
