I love this time of year because all of the Spring/Summer collections surface and never cease to thrill me. The lovely Toast Spring catalog just went live on their site today, do you subscribe to the print version? I do — I’m so addicted — when one arrives in the mail I cling to it for weeks toting around its pretty pages in my bag. Right before I recycle it I gently remove a few of my favorite pages to tack onto my inspiration board in my home office. It’s easy to see why I love Toast so much…

I really like this photo (above, right). Notice the shadow and the little detail there… a heart. This is a sweet touch. The lighting and vibe completely relaxes me. I can almost smell the salty air and feel the sunlight on my back, too.

These photos whisk me off to a magical oceanside resort far, faraway. Free from the internet, my cell phone, and my home that is currently a pretty uncomfortable place to be since the kitchen and partial living room space was flooded last night due to a faulty washer machine that pumped water into the space for nearly 45 minutes straight before we even noticed it. Sigh. These images put me in a happy place today. :) I needed this badly!
