Blog of the Week: Concrete and Honey

Ready to visit a dreamy blog this week? The blog of the week goes to Concrete and Honey… Newly launched this past January, Nicola Brooke is a blogger based in Sydney with inspiring finds and lots of her own photography that makes the blog stand out as unique. Here I’ve included a sneak peek at some of her photography, a glimpse of the goodness over on her bloggy blog.

I love the slip and sofa image, I had to incorporate it a second time into these collages. Nicola’s overall palette started off as soft and sweet, and still is, but like me she seems to enjoy the element of surprise so she’ll throw in some bright hues from time to time too. I was first introduced to this blog via Steph Bond who authors Bondville, she wrote in just yesterday to tell me all about Concrete and Honey so thank you Steph for the tip! It was because of Steph that I realized that Nicola is actually in the same online class that I’m taking right now called Unravelling. Small world!

P.S. As I’m writing this I’m listening to A Fine Frenzy… If Concrete and Honey had a theme CD, perhaps this would be it. :)
