Meyer Lavigne Design

Rainy Days is a new collection of porcelain by Copenhagen-based design studio Meyer Lavigne. Kristine Meyer and Sabine Lavigne graduated from Denmark’s School of Design and together they create ceramics with stories about the weather — storms, rain and quiet gray cities. In addition to ceramics, you can also find them designing cushions and bedding.

I found them via BoligLiv magazine and was quite surprised to learn that they have an Etsy store. I love how accessible their work is to all! Yay!

Kristine and Sabine share a blog that I enjoyed browsing this afternoon with my tea. I found some great new designers in Europe as a result like fashion designer Anna Gulmann and photographer Johan Rosenmunthe, who took the photo above featuring Kristine and Sabine seated upon their vases. More goodness to bookmark!
