Do you subscribe to your favorite magazines? I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately because I want to show more support for some of my favorites so they’ll continue to thrive but also I need to figure out which ones I can’t live without so I can subscribe to them once I move. Currently I receive only US mags like Cookie, Real Simple, Coastal Living, Martha Stewart Living and Sunset magazine. Which ones do you receive by mail?
Of course, I hit Barnes & Noble for Elle Decoration, Livingetc and a few other international favorites as well. Thing is, once I’m on the other side of the pond I’ll no doubt want to tap into more magazines there — I’m thinking VTWonen, Living & More, Luna, Milk, Marie Claire Idees, 101 Woonideeën and Living At Home to name a few.
I’m also thinking of subscribing to Notebook and Real Living in Australia because both are exceptional magazines and I love Aussie style plus I need some mags in English! I’m also considering Martha Stewart Living so I can stay in the loop when it comes to Martha’s world (although the international subscription rate is reallllyyy expensive) and I’m most certainly looking at Skona Hem from Sweden. Looking at these images, all from Skona Hem, I think I already know what one of my choices may be since I certainly can’t subscribe to all of them.
As I said, I cannot subscribe to all of these titles since I’ve not won the lotto or anything, so I’m trying to decide on only five. Any suggestions from personal experience?

I would recommend the Danish magazine BoligLiv. I can’t find it in the States but some people have kindly done a magazine swap with me and I have received an issue of BoligLiv that way.
I too adore Aussie magazines and wish the subscriptions were more affordable.

Have you seen this new magazine from the same publishers as marie claire idees?
It is called 100 idees Deco. Of course it is in French. It is published six times a year and the first issue is April/May. I thought of your blog when I came across it . I feel like it actually surpasses Marie Claire Idees for summer.
