The Love Shop

All you need is love, so they say. The Love Shop has plenty of good cheer to spread so give them a look… I heart tea so the tea print is my favorite, I love the color of it too. I’m seeing lots of prints lately with positive messages which seem to be sparked by the “Keep Calm and Carry On” trend and I think it’s great fun.

The Love Shop

Do you have any positive messages that you display in your home? Do you display them as prints or in some other way? What do they say? I’d be curious to know… I currently do not, though I have a pink Keep Calm poster but haven’t the space to hang it right now. I do keep positive messages and quotes on my desk and on my wall over my desk. Currently I have, “Our love is swollen, made of the quietest shade of loud. Holds me like an anchor. Floats just like a cloud.” It’s from one of my favorite songs called Swollen by Bent. You can listen to it here if you’d like. It’s wonderful, at least to me.

I have a beautiful print from etsy on my desk at work.
It says: Today I will be happier than a bird with a french fry.

    I love it.

Love these prints. I have a homemade print of my own hanging in my bedroom that says “Que Sera, Sera.” One of my favorites.

I have some scribbled handwritten notes on my bathroom mirror. One says “the power that made the body heals the body,” a good reminder as I’m recovering from a car accident. Another asks: “What excuses do you have for not living out your passions?” Which always catches me and has a way of grounding my decisions.

I have yet to create something other than my own scribbled notes. Your post is inspiring though, perhaps I’ll create something worth hanging somewhere even more prominent.

I chipcarved into a piece of 4″x20″ black enameled wood “Self Discipline”. Then I painted the letters gold. Although I still haven’t mastered self discipline I always have a pretty reminder.
