I can’t believe I forgot to tell you this earlier today, but it’s my anniversary today (July 14, 2001) so my husband and I are taking the day off to celebrate eight years together. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone but I’ve loved every single day with Thorsten and can’t wait to spend many more years with him. See this image below? It was on the card he gave me this morning, the owl and the pussycat sailing away together, which we will soon do. :) Well I’m off to celebrate…

Etsy Take Five Tuesdays will resume next week… but I’ll be back tomorrow! And on Thursday I have some exciting news to share with you — I’m taking on a guest writer twice monthly and I can’t wait to tell you who it is and what we have up our sleeve. :0)

happy anniversary! ours is tomorrow, for 9 years. you are right, it is unbelievable how quickly it flies by, but yet I cannot remember a day without him. Have a wonderful time!

You know, I worked from 10am-1045pm that day and as I walked to BART I heard loud music and cheering and thought “What the heck is going on? OH! BASTILLE DAY!! It’s July 14!” Then I paused and thought, “Hmmm….isn’t there something else today?” I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what it was….I think it was your anniversary! I remember you mentioning it (perhaps on HausMaus or maybe in BYW class??). Any way, I may be a few days late but I was thinking about you and just didn’t know it!

Congratulations on your anniversary! My mom and stepfather just celebrated their 20th and “The Owl and the Pussycat” was on their wedding invite (which I designed for them way back when!).

“…And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand, they danced by the light of the moon…” Lovely! Many more happy years.
