Have you heard of American artist Tim Sebright? His illustrative style is so unique, I can see his characters in stories — they are so interesting to look upon and to wonder what exactly they’re up to. I can also imagine an entire film filled with Tim’s little people, what a enchanting animated tale that would be! I was floored when I discovered that Tim just started to draw and paint a few years ago in 2005 but just started to share it with the world a few months ago. Congratulations, Tim. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there like that but I can assure you that you’re going to go places with this talent as it’s original and very, very charming! I’m happy for Tim that now all the stories in his head are able to be free, dancing around on the paper before him, at last! How exciting that he trained himself to be this good in such a short period of time. Truly gifted.
You can find some of Tim’s work on Etsy where I first found him – prints of his original watercolor paintings – yes, really! Originals are available on his website, more information can be found here. I can’t wait to see where he goes with his work. I can see someone like Lilla Rogers picking him up… Best of luck, Tim!
