Hello friends! How are you doing today? I am very well and quite happy because a giant moving truck arrived this morning and delivered everything to us which means that my three month relocation is officially over. Phew! And despite the fact that my home looks like a bomb dropped, I’m very happy to have all of my belongings in hand. I just blogged about it here and included a few photos in case you’re interested…
So! With that I am signing off until Friday. I’m not leaving you without some inspiration first, so I’ve blogged a few posts already, including Etsy Take Five Tuesday.

Best of luck! We lived out of boxes out of sheer exhaustion for so very long after we moved into this house in Oxford, but it is so satisfying, the day you finally fold the last box, give away the last bundle of wrapping paper and close the last drawer.
(Remember Freecycle, if it exists where you are, for getting rid of all your packaging)

Happy unpacking Holly. I can’t tell you how much your blog and your friendly and positive writing/sharing helps me stay in a happy and focussed mood. Thank-you. I too am in the process of moving house with my husband and young daughters and have been dreading the unpacking. After reading all these comments I will stop seeing (unpacking) it as a chore and more like little unwrapping little surprises. :)

ooooh have fun unpacking … I think that’s the only good thing about moving as it’s like christmas. I moved home to Ireland from New York last year and loved re-discovering all my bits and pieces :o) M x

So thoughtful of you to include the warning about the pop-ups on Canadian House&Home; I actually didn’t find any (maybe firefox blocked them?) but even if I had, it’s still totally worth a visit. I love grey rooms and the sundrenched bedroom with chandelier was especially gorgeous.. will definitely need to repaint my walls, one of these days.

Trish – HI! I use Firefox 3.5.4 and I get “Home Hardware” ad pop-ups on their site…. but of course, it’s worth a visit or else I wouldn’t have suggested it, I love C H&H, I’ve been a reader for I think 8 years now? Maybe more… Those grey rooms are gorgeous, aren’t they? So warm and very earthy….

I just came back from a ten day trip to Istanbul. What a great city, but I still came back with the feeling, that I’ve missed some important stuff. Things that give a feeling for how real life is like in the city.
And now you publish the link for pukkaliving…. *sigh*
