Line Klein Photography

It’s time for a new blog of the week, what do you think? Yes? Okay good so let’s examine another lovely, inspirational space. This week we’ll visit the space of Danish photographer Line Klein, whom I discovered thanks to Sidsel. I did not know that Line had a blog – which delighted me on this gray Monday with gorgeous views of places she has been and things she has seen. It’s a very special honor to view the world through the talented, trained eye of Line…

i love the image of the rolls of paper. her work has a very ‘light’ quality in both senses of the word. because of her style of lighting, everything feels very light and floaty. great stuff – thanks for sharing it!

Decor8, a quick tip for how to differentiate between Swedish and Danish:
Look for the non-English letters. If there are ö and ä it’s Swedish, if there are ø and æ it’s Danish or Norwegian.

Decor8, Finnish is a completely different language from the Scandinavian languages. It’s not even an indo-european language. I would guess that you can recognize some words (or at least guess them) when you see Danish/Swedish/Norwegian since you speak German and English, but Finnish is totally foreign. The way I see Finnish is rather long words with lots of double consonants and double vowels. They use å, ä and ö. For an example of Finnish text see: http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suomi

Finnish speakers, please correct me :-) Unfortunately I don’t speak Finnish even though it was my dads mother tongue (or more correctly, he spoke Kven)
