Scouring thrift stores for large, ornate art & photo frames. Painting them fun colors, and turning them into hanging jewelry storage & display boards for my girlfriends.

Every year (for about 12 years) I make cinnamon applesauce ornaments. I do a different shape every year.

I’d like to do some baked goodies to give also. But I’ve been super busy with my craft business. I think I’ll just have to keep it simple.

I have a huge Christmas Craftacular planned for my family this year.
I am making a quilt for my Maw, an embroidered painting for my MIL, and stenciled shopping bags for my sister, SIL, and teen cousin. Also churning out a knitted hat for my Pop, and a calendar with photos of my son for my mom.
If anyone knows of a good calendar program that I can use, I would be ever so grateful.

I am making personalized notepads (bought padding compound from Chica and Jo) and calling cards.

I also make hand dipped chocolate treats (using an Oreo filling, yum) and package those up to match our holiday card.

I like Jane’s crafty gift idea (first post). Me, I’m no doing so well with crafting for gifts. I love to craft, but not on a deadline! I prefer to craft at whim and give them to the recepient whenever I finish.

I’m making fingerless gloves for everyone. They take less than one skein of yarn each and one pair can be made in an evening. Also making cloth napkins.

I’m currently making some mini calendars for 2010.
I personnalize them according to the person that will receive the gift.
I put it on a mini easel. It’s so cute !

Making felt stars. Red ones stitched with blanket stich in white with a little white button through the centre and white ones with red embrodiery thread and red buttons!! Stuff them with a little bit of wadding, use a pen to stuff into the points. Easy, and half a dozen look fab in a little box as a gift.

Making a birthday card for my friend that has been having rough financial times. I’m hoping the card will cheer her up. I’m also working on some other decorated picture frames for my daughter-in-law.
