H is for Hedgehog in English but it also stands for Have… as in Have a great weekend and I’ll meet you back here on Monday morning because I’m running out the door on a slew of appointments… If you happen to wonder where this beautiful image is from below then you’re in for a treat because it is from the Tear Jerker issue #7 of online magazine Utterly Engaged.

And U is for Utterly Adorable! I was asked to help a friend out with her wedding this summer. She and I are west coasters and are all about what we decided to call contemporary natural. Her family lives on the east coast (where it was held) and still believe that weddings are about as much tulle as you can cram into a plastic trellis. Tears were shed. She had to battle from this side of the continent for even her own colour scheme and pretty much gave up by the time we arrived. Her mother and I came close to shedding each others blood :) and by the time we left (escaped) Sue was pretty much disowned. Makes for some HILARIOUS pictures though LOL! I should blog it. She might stop speaking to me…

I am a bridesmaid this year in the wedding of my best childhood friend who actually has a hedgehog as a PET!! I showed this to her and we decided that this was the perfect way to incorporate Buster(her hog) into the wedding, that is after we decided that there was no way to get him to run a straight line down the aisle as the ring bearer…
