Lisa Jones Studio

Influenced largely by mid century design illustration, Scandinavian ceramics, the kitschy 1980s and 1970s textiles, Lisa Jones is one great illustrator. Have you heard of this London-based talent before? If not, you’ll want to visit her website, Lisa Jones Studio, to preview her work which ranges from cards to tea towels, books and prints.

I like how she mixes her blue print with the dishes. Always so much more interesting than just sticking a picture on the wall. Her cards would be great framed too. Thanks for introducing me to Lisa!

Eeeee! *flails* ? That is so ridiculously cute! I’ll be moving in with a roommate at the end of the year and will downsize from a whole apartment to myself to one room for myself, and I want to make that room as pretty as possible. Been looking at different prints from different artists for quite some time. These are so lovely! Definetely on my “take into consideration” list. :-)

Funny enough, I just purchased the card with the bird on the phone booth and the Tunnel of Love card from the Anthropologie store this past weekend. I had already bought all the V-day cards I needed, but they were just too cute to pass up, so I have them in a drawer to surprise someone with later on.

Errr… and by phone booth, I meant post office box. Happy Monday! :)
