Stylist Lili Diallo

New York props stylist Lili Diallo has such an amazing eye, I loved her work in Domino magazine and can’t wait until her new book releases at the end of the year. Have you heard of her? If not, you’ll be happy for the introduction after seeing a few views from her online portfolio…

Stylist Lili Diallo

I caught a peek of her upcoming book on Amazon — it is being published by Clarkson Potter and is called Details: A Stylist’s Secrets to Creating Inspired Interiors. It looks quite juicy — I love the idea of a stylist sharing her secrets in a book! I imagine that so many will really feel inspired after seeing beautiful rooms and reading her tips and inspirations throughout. How can you not be!? Below is a shot of the cover, stay tuned for a review once I get my hands on a copy later this year. I can’t wait to share more!

Stylist Lili Diallo

I’m really looking forward to this book and Lili’s take on interior styling and hope that if you have time today that you’ll pop over to her website to see more of her work. Enjoy!

The designs manage to look stylish and yet so comfy. Definitely going to check this book out – if I can make our rented property look slightly less like student accommodation, that’d be a plus!

i love seeing pink sofa’s… i was for a long time convinced that that would be the color for my new sofa’s as soon as i could find one i liked. everybody thought i was crazy with going for a pink sofa. So everytime i see a pink sofa i;m thinking: ah you see, i’m not crazy, it looks great!!

But my new sofa is brown/camel. I do have some pink accents on the cushions that i throw up there. Anyways, the books looks lovely so far :) i can t wait to see more of it!

I love the comparison of the dark gray dress with ribbon, light grey handback with ribbon (and polka dots), violette ribbon to the colour palette of baking ingredients… More of those beautiful comparisons are shown at her website: forks and knives to a laid table in a dining room… it reminds me of the beautiful pictures in “View on Colour” which is not published anymore…
