INK + WIT

Tara at INK + WIT recently launched so many sweet new things in her collection that I simply must share them briefly with you. Stamps sets, tea towels, posters… it’s all uniquely Tara and I think they would make such grand gift ideas, don’t you?

The mobile is very nice – for adults or children – and the rubber stamps can lead to many fun and inspiring craft projects, can’t they? Do you use rubber stamps and if so, what for?

Psst: Tara shared some of her favorite things on decor8 last September, if you missed that post here you go! (images: ink + wit)

    *smitten* I love that fox!
Letting my 4 year old loose with my stamp collection, fabric ink and a white T-shirt is a popular project in our house. I carve my own stamps too sometimes from his drawings, they made cute Christmas cards last year.

I was lucky enough to visit the Ink + Wit booth at the craft fair in brooklyn this past weekend (!) and see much of this in person–fabulous! I got a number of the new stamps and just love them. My favorite is the kangaroo (which you can’t see here)! So nice to see this post!

I buy lovely rubber stamps but never get around to using them. I almost bought Ink + Wit’s wonderful artic set but stopped myself because it would have just gone in a box with all my other unused stamps.

Any ideas on how to display rubber stamps?

I use a rubber stamp to create wrapping paper. I have a stamp of my shop’s logo that I randomly stamp onto brown craft paper. Whenever I am ready to ship an item I first wrap it up in my handmade paper and tie it with twine.

It’s an inexpensive, but impressive, way to wrap up an item for my customer and a special treat for them to unwrap.

I’m smitten by the new INK + WIT collection! I especially love those rubber stamps, but the set is out of my budget. :( I’ve done rubber stamping for years, mainly for making cards and for scrapbooks, but every now and then I’ll use them on textiles.
