I know it’s a bit of a tease to write this with so many readers outside of Europe, but over here House Doctor is a big brand at least in Scandinavia and Germany (maybe elsewhere, I’m not sure) and I really like their products. I think these photos can be inspiring to look at though whether you have access to the products for purchasing or not. Don’t you love the ceiling in the first photo and the wonderful walls???
House Doctor has some great furniture and accessories and my friend Tinna just so happens to be their agent in Germany here in Hannover where I live. I can’t wait to see their new catalog, but here is a tiny peek in case you are a House Doctor fan too.
These glimpses are from their Fall 2010 collection available in select stores in August. I think someone should talk to Anthropologie buyers about selling some of their things stateside, I am sure lots of you would like that wouldn’t you??? :)

Love to cook? Looking for some inspiration in the kitchen? In need of a few good recipes? Well let me tell ya, I sure could use some action in my kitchen because I’m stuck in a cooking rut these days. I’ve been eating lots of the same things over and over again (poor husband!) and I feel like my menu is a bit like groundhog day! I could live on watermelon and ice cream all summer… Do you get in these cooking ruts too? I feel like I’m the only one sometime… and that I’m being a bad wife which makes me feel kinda sad. That’s why when I came across a lovely food blog today called What Katie Ate I felt like my eyes have been opened to a whole new world of inspiring yummy things to whip up at home.
